Former NFL quarterback Bernie Kosar filed for bankruptcy. He was a star at the University of Miami, then played in the NFL for Cleveland, Dallas and Miami. His Chapter 11 filing listed assets between $1 million and $10 million and liabilities of between $10 million and $50 million, including more than $9 million for bad real estate deals. Kosar retired from the NFL in 1996 and filed his case in Miami.
