Halt Repossession

If you are behind on your vehicle payments, your vehicle finance company may repossess your vehicle at any time, but Chapter 13 provides a solution.

In Chapter 13, your vehicle will be protected and you may modify your loan down to the fair market value of the vehicle, which will reduce the amount and usually the interest rate, that you must pay for the vehicle. Even if your car has already been repossessed, if you file for Chapter 13 protection, your vehicle finance company must return the vehicle to you as long as you contact us immediately after the repossession takes place.

But if your vehicle has already been sold at an auction, then you may not be able to demand the return of your vehicle.

If you are dealing with the repossession of your vehicle, contact us today via email or at (214) 740-1160 to find out what your options are.

I have had the free consultation with Mr.Polk and I will be making a partial payment on friday. I need to know once I make my payment on friday can I direct my car lender to the “Creditor Referral Line” to stop repossession. Please respond as soon as possible.

Yes Tommy– once you’ve retained the firm and we have your case up and running, let us “run interference for you” so that you don’t have to deal with the creditor calls anymore.
